Nepal - Mustang Kingdom

Namaste brothers and sisters.

Nepal is a magical land and the Mustang Kingdom is one of its most ancient jewels.   Located in the central, northern area of Nepal it rests within the shadow of the might Annapurna mountain.  While Annapurna hides behind the clouds many days, Dhaulagiri will come out to say hello almost every day.

The details of the itinerary are not finalized until a few months before the trip based on the local conditions and access.  The trips starts in Kathmandu which is a wild and exciting city.   You haven't lived until you have visited Thamel to shop and dodged tuk-tuks, cars, people and cows all at the same time.   We will then fly to Jomsom via Pohkara.  Jomsom is located in the deepest valley in the world that has been created by the Kali Gandaki River.  The approach into and out of Jomsom is guaranteed to give you a shot of adrenaline.

After a night in Jomsom we hit the trail into Upper Mustang.   We will be traveling 15 - 20 miles per day with a heavy dose of climbing.   To make this time we will be moving fast and light.  Each client will be able to transfer a 30lb bag via truck/porter to the day's destination.   Each client will be given a GPS coordinates file of the route for the day, but the crew will be spread out throughout the route to support.  There are also villages along the way with friendly locals who will always point you in the right direction (assuming you know how to pronounce your destination).

After 5 days of running through the Himalaya we will be back in Jomsom for the journey back to Kahtmandu.   In Kahtmandu we will enjoy a great celebratory dinner before departing flights the next day.

This trip is guaranteed to leave an indelible mark on any traveler.  If you are interested reach out by chat or the contact page or just sign up!
